Connection

Spent this glorious autumn morning with my friend G and her Arabian gelding Zaphir.

When Zaphir came into G's life a few months ago, he was so terrified of everything that even a butterfly flying past would make him shake with fright. G's patience and love have paid off. She has a special way with horses that I've not seen anwhere else. The Zaphir I saw today was almost unrecognisable from the nervous wreck I met this summer. Their bond was palpable, and it was beautiful to behold.
