Momuments to the past

Left a sleepy house early to take Juno for a walk, the objective today was Cnoc Ceislein. A cracking sunset as we headed in land to the starting point. A very quiet Sunday morning, with the car park empty.

Juno was bouncing all over the place it must have been the deer scents.

She would run down fire breaks and on my shout come bounding back. At last she caught sight of a roe deer and chased with no chance, she gave up quickly.

On the summit of Cnoc Fyrish we looked over Nigg and the sleeping rigs, giants of a past industry.

We headed inland to more deer chasing and some grouse raising. The highest point of the day was a slog through peat hag, heather and bog, at last we looked in the Wyvis massif cut in half with the cloud. It was probably a good decision to stick to the lower hills today.

Back home and beach walk with Juno from Inver along the bird haven eustary , these mud flats holding many waders.

Out to the lighthouse, I was checking out fishing spots for Eco son and his pals. Worth the we visit as I found a /£20 note in the heather, result.
