Domestic day

Great cooking day. Morning was a bit rough, but that's saying more than enough.

Set out to cook for J&N today - made lots of food for them....

Homemade Tomato Soup
Thai-spiced Pumpkin Soup (made with butternut squash) - yes, same recipe from earlier this week
Spaghetti Sauce
Sausage, kale, white bean stew
Granola
Pumpkin & Feta Muffins - super tasty savory treat.

LOTS of wine today while cooking - a couple of different bottles:
Cotes du Rhone - 2006 Caves des Papes
Monticello Vineyards - 2006 Pinot Noir

Makes cooking a lot more enjoyable :)

Making a scrumptious Mac & Cheese for dinner with some roasted romesco. Mmmmm.

Great day for being indoors - rainy cold day- sideways rain at times. Looks like late fall/early winter is among us. Brrrrr.
