Happy Birthday my baby

We celebrated our baby's 3rd birthday today. He was so excited for so long. His older bhaiya's (brother) birthday was in August, and he's been so good waiting for his own. He actually turns 3 on Monday.

The day wasn't really all that eventful. It was just a bit of cleaning house and tidying up for company. There was also the making of the cake and wrapping of presents...oh and a shower.

We really had a great evening. My dad and his wife were able to come enjoy time with their grandchildren. The cake was a huge hit. He had asked for a Diesel Engine cake (a huge Thomas fan), and I managed to pull off a pretty cool landscape complete with Cranky (a crane) lifting logs (cinnamon sticks), Diesel parked with his fuel tank, a river flowing through a tunnel and lots and lots of icing.

My son was full of "Yay!!!" and lots of clapping hands. It's so wonderful to see him smile and have a day that's all about him.

I sure love them both with all my heart.

This is a horrible shot I know, but the lights were out. I'm surprised it turned out at all with a 1600 ISO handheld.
