New Shoes

We bought Aidan his first pair of proper shoes today - he's had other shoes before, but none that were actually suitable for walking in. We had planned on getting them last week on his birthday, but the wee man was knackered at the shops so we just left it. With no plans for today (his swimming class was cancelled), we decided to head round to the Gyle and get him fitted for shoes at Clarks. Although he's not properly walking by himself yet, he is cruising around the furniture - he just needs to find the confidence to take those first few steps himself rather than sitting down and bum-shuffling to where he wants to go!

Also, it would appear that one of his top two front teeth has decided to make an appearance at some point over the past day. He was a bit funny just before his birthday (woke up crying at one point and needed a wee bit calpol to get back to sleep), and he has had a bit of a sore bum and the occasional red cheeks. I had been checking his gums for the past few days, however it was only tonight that I felt the wee sharp toothlet poking through his top gum.
