Plumose Anemone Unfurling
We were on the wreck of the Rondo this morning in the Sound of Mull. This Plumose Anemone was just starting to unfurl (presumably it was getting hungry) as I snapped it.
This afternoon we were hoping to dive the wreck of the Hispania, but some seaweed stuck in the coolant intake of our boat put paid to that - by the time the skpper cleared it (an epic battle between man and machine) we'd missed the tide. We dived the John Preston and adjacent wall instead, which was lovely.
It was a good weekend for C, who finished hi Sport Diver training yesterday (well done!) and did his 100th dive today - which he celebrated by drinkng a whisky miniature on his safety stop! (probably more fun to watch than to do...) S organised the trip (many thanks!) and did her last UK dive this morning, and one of the boat crew had her birthday, so it was a busy day!
