Harakeke and Ti Kouka
It's not that often you find a flowering Flax (Harakeke) and Cabbage Tree (Ti Kouka) beside each other, so while stopping for an assignment blip I got sidetracked in the bushes.
Maybe I have over polarised this, but it does help nicely contrast the two flowers. BTW, if you have never stopped to smell Cabbage Tree flowers you should do so, very subtle and fragrant. Quite surprising.
And if you don't have Cabbage Trees in your country, well, you'll just have to come here ;-)
