Tay Valley

Photographed high above the A9 this morning, I noticed this kind and considerate tractor driver pull into a layby, allowing a queue of traffic to overtake.

Stripped all the beds first thing this morning, popped laundry into the washing machine and left for a long walk with Megan in Craigvinean Forest.

Back home, made a pot of white tea and hung out all the washing probably for the last time this year.

I love great drying days.
I love the gorgeous smell of fresh wind-dried sheets and pillowcases.
I love cold sunny days with a fresh northerly breeze.
I love lighting the wood burner and curling up with a good book.
