A Place of Stillness

Taking a short lunch break from a long lecture at my workplace.

So for a few minutes before I return to listen to the long presentation, I plan to experience the simple pleasure of quietness. As I begin to relax, I turn my thoughts to the things in life that bring me hope, joy, and rest.

This yellow flower is smiling at me as I sit here in the midst of the hospital garden. The quietness makes my heart still. It has been stressful and busy lately, being alone and having to sit here has been a real treat.

A beautiful place of stillness. An awesome place to thank my God for His goodness and grace.
