Animal Hoarding: Redefined

The latest craze in reality TV here in the US revolves around "hoarding," a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in which people basically never throw anything out. They keep collecting until they can no longer move freely around their own homes...Then they get booked on the TLC show "Hoarders" so that we can exploit them for our own amusement!

A recent spin-off of the show is called "Animal Hoarders." That show features people who "collect" animals. One couple had over 300 cats living with them. I refuse to watch that show because inevitably the animals get confiscated with less than stellar prospects.


So..... here's mine and Benny's more positive spin on the term "animal hoarding." Here's Benny happily hoarding all of his favorite toys to prevent the other dogs from getting them. So there you have it: a genuine animal hoarder. :)
