Clouds of Sunset

Today I was driving home from my office and saw the most magnificent clouds just before sunset. They were big billowing clouds. When the sun was fully behind one of the clouds the rays of sunshine burst out from behind in long golden beams. Sigh...

I didnt have my camera bag in the car because I lost one of my lens caps. My anxiety increased as I tried to get home quickly, but traffic wasnt working with me today. And then I drove by a farm field where there was a car on the side of the road. A woman with her little point and shoot, elbows on the hood of her car, was capturing the moment. Grrrr....

When I arrived at home I ran inside, grabbed the camera, and ran out to the back deck. And this is all that was left of those beautiful clouds. Eh...its nice... but its not the same.

The forecast tomorrow is rain all day. I have some ideas for a morning shoot. :)
