In the Wings

I helped out at the 9th annual hip hop dancefest that took place at the Palace of Fine Arts. Though I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the choreography, I caught this one of dancers watching some freestyle warm up on stage.

So this is for the rush of adrenaline felt before going on stage,
the smiles I saw on the dancers' faces when they were facing the upstage and thought no one was looking,
the looks of sheer joy and excitement when hearing the audience cheer,
the looks of genuine bliss and exhaustion when they left the stage,
but most of all, the love of dance. <3 <3 <3
