Life in stereo

We were going to chuck this old stereo away, but Ben seems to love it. Even without a tape in there, he presses all the buttons, feeds it with pebbles and crayons, sticks his hands in to feel the spindles spinning. Thankfully he's not found the radio, as we'd never get a moment's peace. He already knows which button to press on the radio alarm upstairs to get music, and he knows how to unlock my iPhone, scroll to the right screen and select the game that he wants, then turn the phone horizontal to play.

The boy is far too clever.


In other news, The Cake Mk2 has made significant progress today during Ben's nap time. It is currently all cut out and stuck together with buttercream, waiting for me to make a vat of chocolate fudge icing for Steve to plaster all over it, and turn it into a chocolate turtle. Once the proper decoration is done it will cease to look turtle-like and hopefully become more butterfly-like.
