Tomatoes

Damn you tomatoes, why won't you go red!

Me and Jo have been doing the edible garden thing for quite a few months now. Sadly, as the weather warms up, as it does in Brisbane, we have found that there are more and more grubs that like the taste of our salads too.

Jo is persevering though.

Tomatoes have proved a little bit difficult. Yes they grow. Yes they produce tomatoes. No they aren't going red though. And we have some tomato plants that would rival Triffids...They are taking over the yard!

It's all a bit of fun. All I need now is a cow in the backyard with a unlimited supply of eye fillet.
