On her way

My daughter is off to India tomorrow for 8 weeks, maybe more, part of a 3 month sabbatical she negotiated with her employer. We did some last minute shopping at MEC tonight. Here she is picking ip insoles for her hiking boots. Part of the time she plans to trek in Nepal.

She is very excited and so am I. I will miss her and think of her often. It is the trip of a lifetime.
