Only in Africa?

So funny this morning to see a floating dock (jetty?) come floating by outside the house. Initially there were two people sitting with spades paddling the dock along the canal, but then the person in the front got tired (or hot) and tied a rope around his waste and dived into the water and swam along towing the dock.

I couldn't help thinking that in Sweden this would have required a tug boat and a lot more logistical planning, and might even have taken all day to get done.
