Yorkshire Wolds landscape

A beautiful, if chilly late afternoon early evening today, so I went for a drive over the Yorkshire Wolds, finding this sharply defined landscape between Sherburn and Weaverthorpe. I liked the simplicity of the colours and composition.

BTW, I managed to time my drive to co-incide with rural workers leaving work and driving a qualifying lap speeds over empty lanes. I was the slow back marker....
If you ever want to know how fast mud covered saloons can go, this was the time and place!
