My Sister will be Suspicious......

What's happened? Only five Blips ago, I was sleeve-less, and warm. The sun was splitting the sky.

Normally, I have a spell, where sleeve-less shirts are put to one side, - long sleeves are in, and then long sleeves and pashminas. Then, coats, and then coats with Pashminas. Today - 5 days, yes only 5 days after the sunshine, and non-sleeves! Here I am - COAT AND PASHMINA! I've missed completely the Long Sleeves and Pashmina Stage.

This rather beautiful pashmina was gifted to me by a Very Special Lady. Every time I wear it, I think of her and her amazing gift of being. She is one of these ladies who just radiates life! She has an ability to speak her mind and tell the absolute truth, and no one on the receiving end can possibly take offence because her manner is just so spot on!

I worked beside her and it was absolute joy. I loved it when a troublesome customer came in with an eye to kicking up a fuss. She would remain seated, ask for the situation, and explain where everyone was and what was happening. That would be all it took. If the situation was out of hand before it reached her, standing up at the desk would be all it needed to reinforce her authority. Bawdy delivery men were instantly under her control. How she did make me giggle!

While I worked with her, I watched her meet and fall in love - you could see it happening. That little glow that always surrounded her (except for days after over-indulgence) - just grew and grew. In him, she found her perfect match - and he his!

Of all the things I miss. I miss working with her. She is fun, and full of life, and the office would never be boring without her charm and wit! Every morning, when I log on my computer, I see her name pop up on my Skype and I smile to myself and wonder what mischief she is causing up the road!
