wiling away the hours

it's a word. i looked it up. the pictures of the cargo shorts and didgeridoo are coming. i was supposed to go shopping today to pick up souvenirs for people back home, but my ride fell through. instead i rediscovered the joys of captain n. not the most productive use of my last few days in australia, to be sure.

when i come back, i am so getting a car. i don't care where you are, unless it's new york city (and possibly parts of london, i don't know, i haven't been yet but i want to...badly) you can't get around without a car.
