It's that pub again

There was a whole lot of stuff that had to be done today, but in the end we managed to get out of the house and up to the Cask and Barrel in order to meet Samiam, who had bravely made her way there through the unfamiliar streets of Edinburgh. Poor woman, she's already feeling the need to buy a second layer of thermals. (What ever will she do in January?)

Anyway, it was thoroughly excellent to meet some blippers again. Apart from Samiam there was magpie, CanCarrier, MAiT, stewartbremner and Kaybee - and Sands who had travelled all the way from Stoke on numerous trains. We got the latest news re feline politics in North Berwick and heard all the hot blip gossip from MAiT. (This season's possum fur accessories from NZ were also mentioned.) We spoke of absent friends.

Luckily I only spilt a small amount of my beer when I was waving my hands around in an overly theatrical fashion. (Calm down, woman!) It's fine now I've washed the smell of beer off my hands....
