Flying insect critter thing

I hit my ten year anniversary at work last week and treated myself to a new lens with the generous reward. So, you can expect a veritable onslaught of macro bug and plant shots for the next few months or however long it takes for the novelty to wear off.

It was bloody cold this morning and it was still pitch black when my alarm went off. Those two combined made it incredibly difficult to drag myself out of bed. I think we'll have an extra hot water bottle tonight, but that'll only make the bed cosier and therefore harder to leave when it comes time to rise.

Oh, what a quandry.
