artistic license?

We've been looking at this decorated tram stop shelter for a few weeks and wondering if it was a statement of some kind, a new kind of graffiti or just a new type of decoration.... upon further inspection, the color strips are cloth, the design appears deliberate and made to resemble the goal on a football pitch... well, sort of... so we still don't really understand the point but at least I remembered my camera today so I could blip it!

The sun finally came out in earnest today and it made everything so much brighter and full of cheer. There is winter in the air and snow on the alps, another season is drawing near.
