Pentland sunshine

I had a walk in the Pentlands this morning. On the tops it was absolutely freezing with a very strong wind. In the sunshine in the sheltered valleys it was lovely and warm (well it was if you were well wrapped up).

Where has this year gone? I have hardly been up a hill this year, today really reminded me of what I was missing.
