A dragon's egg...

...adds a lot to bathtime. Especially for slightly reluctant 7 year olds who, frankly, have much better things to do than get clean, don't ya know. Fizzy fun birthday present from lovely godparents - thanks if your read this!

Busy, busy, busy day not entirely helped by possible start of cold. Hard to tell its current status as dosed myself up to the eyeballs. Hopefully another good night's sleep will kick it into touch.

Most dominant feature of the day has been school Christmas Fair stuff. Am coming to the conclusion that I may have to do it again next year to make all the stuff I am learning this year feel worthwhile. Either that or I need to write a pretty comprehensive manual. Am a little frustrated as there are things I really think I could / should have been told by previous organisers that would have helped but then again I have to remember that not everyone is quite so process obsessed oriented as I am.

Nothing more to be done tonight though than curling up under a blanket with last night's Spooks. Perfect.
