Happy Mother's Day!

20 weeks + 4

I'd been dreading today, it was the first 'occasion' just the two of us, and it felt a bit naff. A few other things had made it feel even more rubbish in the run up to it.

Turns out, it was lovely. I got a box of Hotel Chocolat chocolates from Katie, she drew on the gift tag too. We went to Scarborough for the day, and when I got there, she had sent me a card too.

We went out for dinner with Granny, Grandad and Uncle Simon. It was a lovely meal and Katie did really well. She slept in her car seat for some of it, then played happily when she woke up.

After the meal, it was time to get changed before going to her cousin William's first birthday party. She met some of the family who'd not seen her before, and even got her first party bag afterwards, which had a bath toy specially picked to be good for her!
