Bamboo

Raining for most of today but still managed to spend a good part of the day looking for and capturing images. Consequently have loads of frames of rain drops falling on water leaving an ever changing tapestry of textural delights to delight my eye, water drops on leaves, and reflections in wet footpaths.

This image came about whilst trying to capture water drops on bamboo leaves. I focused on a particularly attractive leaf but when I clicked the shutter this is what I had in view. So tried the same "oops" a few more times and like this one best!!?? (Tip: focus on object in foreground and then move camera to mid-ground or background and voila!)

Reminds me of Sufi paintings, minimalism, and blurred dreams.......hope you like too.
