Reading the small print

After my trip to the city centre on Saturday I spotted the beautiful logos and big writing advertising the Impressionist Gardens exhibition at the RSA and thought it was a good place to take the visiting parentage today. So, after much trundling, chivvying and bus-passing we made it down by 10am, only find that it finished yesterday. Hmmm.

We were both appeased by a rather lovely piece of lemon drizzle cake in the Gardens Gallery.

A well-earned rest in the afternoon led to a lovely meal out at Heller's Kitchen with young and old from Lady Findhorn's side of the family. A brief stop at her new abode also gave me the chance to take my own picture of a garden seeing the impressionists had packed up and left. I think I'm going go autumn-blip mad and earn this season the same status as swans, flowers and kittens.
