I just love the startled expression of the greenfinch on the right - as it's usually the finches who fight for a position on the feeder, but today it was the turn of the house sparrows. I keep thinking maybe I should invest in a larger bird feeder with more perching rings, the only downside of those is it'll cost a small fortune to fill up every day! And the birds cost me a small fortune as it is! Very rewarding though to see them! Sorry for the quality of the photo, it's taken through a window again!
