The decade I was born

At least, I think this was probably built then. Perhaps a bit later, the 1970s. This is one of several "iconic" buildings on campus which, although in isolation are often spectacular (the interior of this one in particular is exceptional), jar terribly with the Grade II listed redbrick of Aston Webb's design.

Still, every campus has one!
