Time to dust off my guitar...

Had the annual gas check today, normally we have a whole load of agro re-arranging days and whatnot, but today they came at a reasonable time and were very polite. What's this got to do with my guitar you might ask?

Well.... the pair of them play a little (okay one of them was a pro musician a for almost thirty years) so while the younger was servicing the boiler and fire, the older one spent the half hour jamming away on my guitar! And when he gave over to me I strummed three chords then hid my head in shame (been trying to play for almost thirty years). Still, they issued a challenge that when they come round next year I had better have been practising...

Strangely, I'm actually taking up that challenge ;)

You've gotta feel for my family and their poor dainty ears...
