Lantern procession

Lantern procession is a big thing here in Germany. The children started making their lanterns at nursery 3 weeks ago, and have been saying things like "only three sleeps til lantern procession" all week long.

There was singing, a big bonfire and a nice walk through the park. Followed by a Swabian dinner with the whole family.

What a lovely tradition.
