Baby 2 is on the way !!!!!

Atlast..... i can shout it from the rooftops... I AM PREGNANT had my 12 week scan today. Lee could'nt make it which was very sad as he was very poorly with a sickness bug. I asked my freind Emma to come with me and she was more than willing. It was really nice to share that with her and have someone with me. As i layed on the bed and the woman squeezed the jelly on my belly i was very nervous and excited. We had a large tellyt screen to watch on and she quickly found my baby with its little heart beating away. I was so relieved!

They do the downs test differently now where they measure the space at the back of the neck where the baby has some fluid and they put that measurement together with a blood tests to give you a percentage. I saw the baby moving around and kicking its legs. They measured the baby and then said 'you are 13 weeks' which was a shock as i thought i was 12. She said 'this will make the baby due on 22nd April 2011' OMG !!!!! Harvey's b'day is the 21st April ! I have no idea how I managed that one. Still it will be a great time of year as Lee's birthday is the 13th April aswell. So with 4 pictures in hand of my little life growing inside me I thanked the lady and went to another room to have the bloods taken. It was all over so quick and I could have stayed in their all day just looking at that screen. It was sad that Lee couldnt make it but he can always come along to the 20 week scan.

Later that day i did some painting with Harvey and made his tea. Then I started to feel really ill and sick. After harvey had gone to bed I have never been so sick in all my life. I will spare you the detail but it was not pretty. I felt terrible. Most of the night i tried to sleep upright which hurt my back. I actually passed out at one point which was slightly worrying but all is ok now and as its now Monday i am starting to recover.... phew ! This nasty bug came from nursery as they have a notice up saying that a sickness bug is going around. So we have all had it now hopefully it will pee off and never come back !
