Manageable pets

Took several pictures today, including some with my macro lens of the last roses of summer - beautiful pictures. [These confirmed however that I may have a couple of specks on the CCD.] However, this totally unstaged blip of my mother's fireside companions I think takes pride of place today.

We've had a wonderful few days in the New Forest, been places we've never been to before - which is surprising considering she's been living there for nearly 40 years - and the weather has been all we might have hoped for; and ... I haven't put on any weight. Now that is truly remarkable!
