Memorials

Today C and I went to a Celebration of Life at Squalicum Boathouse -- which isn't actually a boathouse, but a beautiful community meeting rental facility in Zuanich Park. Afterwards we took a stroll along the waterfront, enjoying the brilliant sunshine and the fresh breeze. It always seems to be windy there, so it's a favorite place for kite-flyers. One fellow was flying 65 kites connected together on a single line. There's probably a technical term for that, but I don't know what it is. You can see a photo here.
