A walk in the woods

At church this morning, as usual. Our anthem which was a capella, didnt go very well, especially the second time. It was one of those where you didn't think it should be so difficult, yet as a choir we just couldn't get it - very frustrating. After lunch, Roger, Laura and I went walking at Rowe Woods, which turned out to be rather disappointing, from the point of view of Fall color. Although it was another lovely warm day, there was more cloud cover than yesterday, so that didn't help either. We had an early dinner, as Laura had to be back at University by 7pm, so we're now back to just the two of us. We'll see her again briefly on Friday, as the Choraliers, the women's chorus she sings with is giving a concert Friday evening.
