Butter wouldn't melt

Well yes it bloody well would let me tell you.

So Charlie was sooo naughty this morning I took all of his books and placed them in bin bags ready for the big grey bin.

Obviously I am not about to throw away an entire Julia Donaldson collection - plus what actually amounts to a better selection than the local library - but I made my point.

Eventually...... we enjoyed a good old fashioned family day out in the Peak District, rounding the day off with tea in one of our favourite pubs. Kids were exhausted, I think we all needed the fresh air today.

I certainly welcomed the lovely wine with my dinner and Charlie had been just about good enough to earn back 2 books for bedtime stories.
