It's That Time....

Weekend is here, husband is home, and it's a lazy morning. Perfect day for a haircut for my son...there have definitely been other photo opportunities today, but I do love how my husband's hand is cradling my son's head...just goes to show how little my son still is (even though he acts very, very, big :)

The plan today was to head to one of the local pumpkin patches near our house, this time as a family. Unfortunately the few we wanted to go to are closed on Sundays. Guess we'll just have to suffer at home and get an incredible amount of chores done :)

Probably best, as we have our annual pumpkin carving party next Friday. This will be the second year...pumpkin carving, kids in costume, loud, crazy, running around, fantastic food and conversation, and then a slumber party followed by a fantastic brunch. Right now the count is 16 adults and 12 kids...it's always a little scary when the kid to adult ratio is almost even....
