My daughter and I went out to collect flowers for her flower press. Believe me, apart from that balsam plant that chokes all others, flowers were hard to find!

We walked up a lane near our home, and I was amazed to see so many berries on the masses of holly bushes. I hope they last until Christmas. If they do, I'll be back to collect some to decorate our home.

We managed to find a few honeysuckle blossoms, some small dandelions, clover, and a solitary daisy!

I did come across some berries on a bush with little foliage left, that looked like blueberries but were a little larger and rounder in shape than any I've bought from the supermarket , but very sharp thorns. Anyone have any suggestions about what they were?
