Doom but not all gloom

If my life today was part of a film then this moment would have been when the music became tense as the crow tries to impress upon me a sense of foreboding. As it was I just thought, oh! that's today's blip right there. : )

The grey of today was punctured with the sunshine of a rare family meal out with my brother (who now lives abroad) and mum (its a BIG birthday in a few weeks).

I think its going to be a long winter.
