Next meal

Found the mantis again, without mate, so it looks as though he was eaten, hope he died with a smile on his face. Spent quite a while sitting watching her, then I noticed the honey bee in an out of the flowers collecting pollen. She also had her eye on the bee and after a few moments she captured and ate him. It was fascinating to watch as you could actually see her jaws chomping away at the poor bee. She started with his head and kept on going, his little legs were still wriggling whilst he was being eaten.

I also found a chrysalis and a couple of little butterflies doing a mating dance. My garden is a hive of lust.
