Kitchen day 3

As the guys were leaving I asked;

"Are the washing machine and dishwasher still functional"
"Oh aye" they said.

I switched on said dishwasher and watched as a gallon or so of water spilled out from the bottom and lapped around my beslippered feet like a rather underpowered tsunami. Every towel in the flat was utilised. I've had better starts to Sundays.
