Five's a crowd! Alnmouth

Fleeing the rain we head south as the weather looks marginally better down the coast. We head for Alnmouth as this is one of my Mums favourite places. Reaching the beach we meet a veritable crowd of four other people and Mum heads off along the beach in full stride leaving the slowest of us far behind.

We can recommend lunch in the Red Lion, though our usual lunch spot, when we don?t have my Dad with us, is the cafe next door. There are just so many places to eat in this small village but I think we chose well!
