Party time in Fife

Working was quite a struggle today. Then when D got home we had to eat something quickly and head across to Fife where there was a birthday party for some young persons whose parents are old friends. Quite a few of these folk turned up and even young Malootkie turned up with his mum and dad. He slept through the whole thing of course. (Perhaps he made even the 18 year-olds feel their age....)

This collage, a family's photos over the last couple of decades, was out in the entrance hall. A lot has happened to them during that time, not all of it good, but what a fine bunch of people they are.

We were so tired that we made our excuses and slipped away quite early, unable to resist the thought of sleeping in our own bed and not having to set the alarm.
