Earl's Palace

I bought a pocketable camera so, partly, that I can maybe upload more regularly. This is from inside the Earl's Palace in Kirkwall. It was built by the evil Patrick Stewart. Not the one from Star Trek: The Next Generation and The X-Men. Apart from the name, a connection is that the actor is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company; and the palace-builder was a right Shakespearean villain.
