Happy Cat

I hope this shot doesn't make any of you wallow in despair or start crying or anything. There's a whole back-story to this little kitten that I've not thought of yet, but it would probably involve abandonment, poverty, drugs, and finding Jesus.

Sitting in his little plant like that with his gooey wee eyes trying to look all sad and pathetic didn't fool me one little bit. Just out of shot are some more cats, friends and family of his, all fat and healthy due to being looked after by the owners of the shop they congregate outside.

So you see? This little guy is just putting it on for the camera.

You can't always believe what you see. Or read, for that matter.
