Halebir Temple, a temple built in 12 th Century AD in South India by the king Housalya. The magnificent temple is full of sculpture narrating the Hindu mythology, ancient text like Mahabharata etc. There is sculpture telling the story of common life of those days too. The stone built temple itself is an open air library.
The temple is still a living temple.
