Bindweed

Got up early and decided to make a dent in that tank of fuel we had paid for - bit of a clever scheme by the car hire company -
Drove over to Velldemaosa, Deja and Soller. The weather was a little cloudy but that's kind of what you often get in the mountains. Stopped first in Velldemaosa: lovely wee village and lots of crafty type shops and artisans as well as tourist tat. It is a slightly better class of tat it has to be said.
Drove on to Deja which I was not looking forwards to remembering driving a precipitous winding road, but they have improved the road dramatically so it was fine. Took this photo in Deja of this bindweed which had overtaken everything. Deja is a peaceful steep mountain village which became a hippy hangout but now is a tourist spot but still pretty quiet (in Oct)
Finally on to Soller which was lovely as usual - a very nice day
