Chair Factory Falls

Heavy rain with thunder and lightning fell overnight, so today, when we visited these falls, they were really running rapidly. The access trail to view the falls was just opened yesterday, and it is a great addition to our park system. I googled "chair factory falls" and discovered that they have even been the subject of a YouTube video.

Our visit to the falls was a stop on our way home from Michael's cross country meet. He achieved his Personal Record on the thoroughly soaked and sloppy course this morning, so he will go on to compete in the Sectionals next week. We're very proud of him.
