A difficult day, whilst generalisation by Country is a dangerous thing, there are significant differences between what is accepted in some countries and not in others. Today it was ambiguity... My experiences of the differences between working in the UK & Italy / Spain are helping, but I am now painfully aware I am at bottom of a learning curve with my new collegues.

Asides from this, I have really beautiful surroundings, lovely cobbled streets and great Belgium beer & French wine (being right on the border). I wish I could speak Dutch or Flemish as I feel completely useless and like a 'Brit' abroad.
