Look What I can do Mummy!

It seems like only yesterday since I was posting another picture of Floriana wearing this same dress when she was at the backward tummy wriggle stage! Now look at her, she's pulling herself up to sanding and cruising round furniture too! Her playpen is proving brilliant for this as it's so safe. Today she was standing in her playpen and discovered she could sit down slightly onto a spinning toy and she could work it with her bottom! So funny but as I went to get the video camera it slipped away and when I put it back she'd lost the knack... isn't that always the way?

This photo shows how delighted she was to discover she could pull herself up on the bars of the hall stair gate. She's sooo good at playing in the hall while I sit behind the stair gate on my computer doing my work! Her little squeals and cute noises while she's playing give me lovely goosebumps all over. Does anyone else get that or am I just strange?

Today we went to baby swimming and Floriana is getting really excited when we go in now and does great breast stroke froggy legs the whole time... a natural swimmer? Of course! Lol

Maddy is being a lovely little sweetheart this evening, and I'm realising my latest bout of strict consequences for bad behaviour have been worth all that effort... must keep up the good work but as all you parents know, the hardest thing about parenting is being consistent!
